About The Role

We are a growing and innovative FinTech business with excellent opportunities available. We are currently delivering a program of works to replace legacy several legacy platforms and integrations. 

Working remotely from your own home, this is an excellent opportunity to support our digital transformation and influence the way we deliver software: the role will suit talented individuals who want to be part of a technology driven business and work with innovative systems and technologies such as AWS, DevOps, React, Azure etc. 

You'll have a minimum of 3 years' experience in .NET Development, with an enterprising attitude to join our highly Agile fintech team.
 

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all applications adhere to security policies and best practice
  • Ensure that code used on sites are functioning correctly 
  • Facilitate bug triage with Product Owners and Testers for newly delivered solutions during warranty
  • Facilitate post sprint demos to PO and business stakeholders

Essential Skills

  • Solid understanding of the .NET framework (.NET Core 3.1 / ASP.NET MVC, C#)
  • Good understanding of the web and associated technologies (HTTP, AJAX, Client/Server, JS)
  • T-SQL / Stored Procedures; proficient in writing T-SQL, and stored procedures to interact with applications

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Vue, React or Angular
  • Experience with cloud development (Azure/AWS)
  • Understanding of test approaches, including unit testing and integration testing
  • Agile way of working experience (Scrum, eXtreme Programming)
  • Good knowledge of Design Patterns and Architecture
